I'm Daniele Barrhout, Director and Camera Operator from Milan.

I look for something in images that goes beyond their simplicity: an atmosphere, an emotion, a feeling. I'm drawn to that point where an image stops simply telling a story and begins to become art.
My directing comes from this pursuit, shaped by cinema and art, by an attention to detail and by the desire to create images that have the power to surprise.

The ambition is to amaze, to move, to leave something behind.
On set, I'm attentive and approachable. I listen, I observe, and I'm always looking for a way to reach the image I have in mind or perhaps discover an even better one.

For me, filmmaking means exactly this: turning an idea into a feeling that someone can see.
